Bodegas Muñana

Founded in the 1980s, Muñana is the largest commercial winery in Granada with its own vineyard. The estate where its wines are produced, located at an altitude of 1,200 m, spans more than 180 hectares, of which 37 hectares are vineyards and 40 hectares are high-quality olive trees. The winery, owned by the Swiss Hess family since 2017, works exclusively with its own vineyards and produces 150,000 bottles annually. Muñana breathes history and tradition: within the estate's grounds, where the vineyards now grow, there once existed an ancient village called Muñana inhabited by Moriscos, which was abandoned after their expulsion in 1570.

Bodegas Muñana (I.G.P. Altiplano de Sierra Nevada) has three product lines that allow for the selection of the most suitable wine for every occasion and audience: the “Ñ” line of Muñana, representing consolidation and national and international recognition; the Delirio line, featuring young and robust yet approachable wines; and the Synesthesia line, the most suggestive 2.0 wines on the market. A total of nine wines, including reds, whites, and a rosé, are crafted under the guidance of enologist Cristina Calvache. Overall, these are wines with personality, powerful, structured, and well-balanced.
