Bodegas Logos

Bodegas Logos

Amador Escudero is the 'alma mater' of Valsacro, an internationally renowned Rioja winery. This expert winemaker and oenology consultant presents his Navarre initiative through Logos. Escudero is the surname of a winemaking family with a tradition spanning several generations and closely tied to a land: La Rioja, where Amador Escudero, the fourth generation of the lineage, manages Bodegas Escudero and Bodegas Valsacro. The first, founded by his father in 1958, became too small for the ambitions of this entrepreneurial winemaker, which led him, in 1997, to embark on the Bodegas Valsacro project alongside his family, a winery that today enjoys international acclaim. Now, the neighboring region of Navarra has taken its turn, where he is the creator of the brand-new Bodegas Logos. To launch this initiative, Amador acquired several old vineyards of Garnacha, Tempranillo, and Cabernet Sauvignon with very low yields. With these, he crafts quality wines aged in carefully selected French and American oak barrels from some of the most important cooperages in the market. The D.O. Navarra is located in the northeast of Spain, bordering Rioja. Navarra is one of the Spanish regions that offers the greatest variety of flavors at good prices. A region that brings together a wide range of wine styles.
