Bodegas Lerma

Bodegas Lerma
Bodegas Lerma is the name of the family-owned company run by the Navarro Balbás family, with brothers Óscar and Daniel Navarro at the helm. Óscar, the winery's winemaker, was one of the key figures in the creation of the Denominación de Origen Arlanza. He also has an extensive career as a winemaker for one of the most renowned wineries in Ribera del Duero: Arzuaga Navarro.

Bodegas Lerma owns 6 hectares of its own vineyards and oversees an additional 24 hectares of century-old vines. Tempranillo grapes dominate these vineyards, but other varieties such as Garnacha and Albillo are also cultivated. The winery facilities are equipped with modern technology, and one of their distinctive features is the annual renewal of their barrel stock, which entails a significant investment. Bodegas Lerma employs a winemaking process that is highly respectful of the fruit, harvested manually in small boxes, and transformed into red wines that express ‘terroir’, dominated by fruit, fresh and silky, recognized at the most prestigious international competitions.
