Bodegas Leda Viñas Viejas

Bodegas Leda Viñas Viejas

Leda Viñas Viejas, a winery located in Tudela de Duero, was initially a project by Mariano García and his sons, together with the Masaveu family as partners; two families previously associated in Bodegas Aalto. Today, the Masaveu family owns this prestigious winery, which is committed to artisanal work and small productions: they produce only 80,000 bottles per year.

Leda Viñas Viejas follows the ‘multiterroir’ philosophy and selects vineyards in three historic regions of the Duero: D.O. Toro, D.O. Ribera de Duero, and D.O. Cigales. The winery focuses on finding plots with very old vines (80-90 years old), working with local winegrowers. With these ancient, low-yield vines, they produce the three wines that make up their catalog: Leda Viñas Viejas, Más de Leda, and Guarda de Leda.
