Bodegas Juan Alcorta

From the Juan Alcorta winery come wines considered icons of the authentic Rioja style. Located in the heart of Rioja, in Logroño, this winery is dedicated exclusively to Crianza and Reserva wines and is part of the powerful Pernod Ricard group, a leader in the production, marketing, and export of quality Spanish wines to more than 70 countries.

Juan Alcorta is one of the most renowned brands of Pernod Ricard and boasts the group's most spectacular facilities. Inside, a modern winemaking process takes place that combines the highest technology with methods recovered from tradition, such as gravity-driven grape movement and aging in underground cellars, where wines mature under optimal conditions. The winery has a 110-hectare estate where Tempranillo vines over 25 years old dominate. One of its main characteristics is its respect for the environment: in 2011, it became the first Spanish winery to certify its Carbon Footprint with AENOR in compliance with the ISO 14064 standard.
