Bodegas Insulares Tenerife

Bodegas Insulares Tenerife

Bodegas Insulares Tenerife produces the most renowned wines of Tenerife. The origins of this company date back to 1992, when it was founded by the Cabildo Insular with the aim of supporting small and medium-sized winegrowers. Today, this firm has more than 947 winegrowers affiliated with the D.O. Tacoronte-Acentejo and the D.O. Ycoden-Daute-Isora, both located on the island of Tenerife. They work with the different grape varieties present on the island, such as Listán Negro, Negramoll, Listán Blanco, etc.

Within Bodegas Insulares is the Bodega Comarcal de Tacoronte (founded in 1992), the Bodega Comarcal de Icod de los Vinos (integrated into Bodegas Insulares in 2005), and the Bodega Comarcal de Guía de Isora (acquired in 2010). The number of members with this new incorporation amounts to 947 winegrowers, of which 748 are from the Bodega Comarcal de Tacoronte, 99 from the Bodega Comarcal de Icod, and 100 from the Bodega Comarcal de Guía de Isora.
