Bodegas Hispano Suizas

The personal project of three friends (Marc Grin, leading the commercial direction; Pablo Ossorio, as the winemaker; and Rafael Navarro, viticulturist) is Bodegas Hispano Suizas, a commitment to crafting quality wines in a region not typically known for it: Utiel-Requena. Pablo Ossorio is considered the star winemaker of Valencia. This restless and revolutionary man from León has given a new twist to the wines produced in Utiel-Requena, proving that quality is synonymous with innovation. Although he is the winemaker for the important winery Murviedro, also located in Valencia, his most personal and intimate project is Hispano-Suizas. The philosophy guiding the winery is to craft unique wines, experimenting with the native varieties of the area and their blends with foreign varieties, always striving to optimize the combinations between grape varieties and soils. The result is a growing collection of high-end yet affordable wines. Beyond the trend of signature wines, and thanks to the independence that the extensive experience of the three partner-friends grants them (allowing them to apply traditional viticulture, innovative winemaking, and intelligent exportation), Rafael, Pablo, and Marc have had the freedom to create small masterpieces.
