The latest to bet on the complex land of Somontano has been the De Beroz family (a surname held by the current president of the Regulatory Council, Mariano De Beroz). The D.O. Somontano is an example of dynamism and constant renewal, characterized by the high quality and diversity of its wines. A hallmark that has positioned it among the most prominent wine-producing areas in Spain. Mariano Beroz is a winegrower and has witnessed the rise of a region that has become fashionable. After working on other projects, and at a time when the crisis shook some of the wineries born in the shadow of real estate investment, Mariano de Beroz decided to embark on what he had been doing until then: making wines in Somontano, although this time under his own label. The winery covers 2,000 square meters, and its logo symbolizes the roots of the vineyard in the land, reflecting its origins.
