Alto Moncayo is one of the select few that holds the 100 Parker points for a perfect wine, Alto Moncayo 2009, one of the rare Garnachas in Spain to receive this rating. The truth is that the trajectory of the Aragonese winery, the protagonist of our proposal, is rather short, as it was founded at the dawn of the current century.

Although the viticultural heritage base of Alto Moncayo is perfectly crafted from a strict selection of vineyards, conditioned by the type of soil where they are planted, the microclimate, and their age—many of them being quite old, with very balanced vines and a deep root system. Located in the highest area of the Borja region, at 500 meters above sea level, the proximity of Moncayo blesses the vineyards of Bodegas Alto Moncayo with a cold and dry continental climate, which prevents the spread of diseases and ensures exceptional health in the Garnacha clusters.
