Bodega Virgen de La Sierra

Founded in 1954 by a group of partners, Bodega Virgen de la Sierra belongs to the D.O. Calatayud. This winery places special emphasis on conveying the spectacular ‘terroir’ where its vineyards are located: 250 controlled hectares spread over stony and poor soils, mostly on rugged terrains with steep slopes. This ‘terroir’, along with the altitude and the local garnacha variety, results in wines with an unbeatable quality-price ratio. Bodega Virgen de la Sierra produces approximately 650,000 bottles annually, with 85% of this production destined for the international market.
