Bodega Santa Eulalia

The Bodega Santa Eulalia, founded in 1950 in La Horra, was the cooperative that led the way for Ribera del Duero in the 1970s. In 1988, during the consolidation process of the denominations of origin, the Grupo Frutos Villar arrived in Ribera del Duero. The chosen way to establish themselves in the area was by transforming the old Bodega Cooperativa Santa Eulalia into a new Sociedad Anónima. From the beginning, they focused on high-quality wines aged in barrels. As a foundation, they relied on the old vineyards of the former members. This is how they started marketing the already existing brands Conde de Siruela and Riberal.

They work with 100 hectares of controlled vineyards, and over these three decades, the company has completely transformed the original cooperative facilities to equip themselves with the most modern technological resources. The aging of the wines is carried out in American and French oak barrels of first and second use. Today, the winery enjoys a strong presence in the national market and exports to more than 40 countries worldwide.
