Bodega San Gregorio

Bodega San Gregorio began its journey in 1965 as a result of the union of around thirty local winegrowers in the area of Cervera de la Cañada (Sierra de Armantes, Zaragoza). Its main asset is its exceptional old Garnacha vines, among the oldest in the region, located at high altitudes ranging from 600 to 1,000 m. These vines provide very low yields (18 hl/ha) of excellent quality. Today, Bodega San Gregorio is a cooperative formed by more than 100 local winegrowers, encompassing 750 hectares of vineyards.

Almost all the vineyard is composed of old bush-trained vines located in high-altitude areas, a heritage that makes San Gregorio one of the main producers of high-quality grapes in Aragón. Its philosophy is focused on extracting the maximum potential from these old high-altitude vineyards, with which they produce wines of great intensity. Of the 1.5 million bottles they produce annually, 95% are destined for the international market.
