Leoncio Arizu, originally from Navarra, arrived in Mendoza at the age of seven and by 1908 was already managing the family winery, which was established at the beginning of the last century. Since 1962, his heirs have been marketing Luigi Bosca wines. Today, the winery is one of the most important names in the Argentine winemaking scene, with its wines present across five continents and a pioneer, in 2005, of Argentina's first official controlled designation of origin.
