Bodega Liberalia

Liberalia is a fine example of the new creations achieved with the latest technologies, both in the vineyard and in the winery. A new project with the applause of international critics. Liberalia is a family winery located in the historic and prestigious D.O. Toro, in the province of Zamora. It began its activity of producing unique and high-quality wines in the year 2000, although since 1996, Juan Antonio Fernández, its owner, faithful to his profession as an Agronomic Engineer, had been acquiring and organizing the vineyards, whose age ranges between 30 and 100 years. The vineyards are located in pagos, where vineyards have traditionally been cultivated. The variety is Tinta de Toro, an adaptation to the terroir of the Tempranillo or Tinto Fino variety. The family also owns vineyards of white grape ancestral native varieties: Moscatel de Grano Menudo, Malvasia, and Albillo.
