Maison Brotte

Founded in 1931 in Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Rhône, France), Maison Brotte is a winery managed by successive generations of the same family. Laurent Brotte, grandson of the founder, is the current head of the house, alongside his wife and children. This family was a pioneer in bottling wine in the southern Rhône Valley and also one of the first to export to the international market. Today, their wines are present in 95 countries around the world.

Maison Brotte produces wines in different appellations of the Rhône Valley, including three of the main ones: Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Cairanne, and Côtes du Rhône Villages Laudun. In 1991, the family acquired the Château de Bord estate in the commune of Laudun, attracted by the great potential of the surrounding vineyards. With these vines, they produce top wines under the prestigious AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages (with the right to add the village name to the label).

Since 2015, all the winery's estates (approximately 60 hectares) have been certified with the Terra Vitis environmental label, which guarantees sustainable farming. Harvesting is done by hand, and the winemaking process emphasizes natural methods to achieve the maximum expression of the terroir. For all their prestigious cuvées, bottling is carried out by gravity and without filtration. Brotte also features a Wine Museum that attracts 25,000 visitors from around the world each year. Pére Anselme is the winery's second label.
