Black Prince Winery

Black Prince is one of the most outstanding wineries in Prince Edward County, the youngest wine region within VQA Ontario. It was founded in 2003 in Picton, at the heart of the region, by John Sambrook and Geoffrey Webb. The name of the winery is a tribute to Edward of Woodstock, the eldest son of Edward III of England, known as the "Black Prince" due to the color of his armor.
