Since 2010, Bodegas Amalaya – a term that means “hope for a miracle” in the indigenous language – has been led by Donald Hess and is part of the Hess Family Estates company, a family-owned business of Swiss origin with various winemaking houses located in Argentina, the United States, and South Africa. It was the first initiative of the bodeguero in Salta, at an altitude of 1,800 meters, and quickly confirmed its magnificent endeavor by showcasing a line of fresh wines with high fruit expression.
