Guijoso

It is one of the nine Vinos de Pago denominations that exist in Spain, six of which are in Castilla-La Mancha (the other three are in Navarra). The Vinos de Pago distinction recognizes that each estate meets the requirements outlined in the decree of the autonomous community that has endorsed it. The wineries and their crops acquire the category of DO of Recognized Quality Wines Produced in a Specific Wine Estate. The requirements set by the public administration to grant this distinction are based on the control of the estate's viticultural and oenological practices, the recognition of the brand, and its prominence in both national and international markets. It was founded in 1992 by Eduardo Sánchez-Muliterno.
