Condado de Huelva
In the southeast of Huelva, the D.O. occupies the plain of the lower Guadalquivir.
Climate
Mediterranean type with Atlantic influences. Mild winters and springs, and long, very hot summers. The average annual temperature is 18 ºC.
Soil
In general, they are flat or slightly undulating terrains, neutral, slightly basic in acidity, and of medium fertility. Reddish, brown soils and alluvial areas near the Guadalquivir predominate.
