Mediterranean climate on the coast and cooler inland due to the action of the trade winds. Annual rainfall between 350 mm on the coast and 550 mm inland.

In the center, the soils are sandy and calcareous, while in the higher areas, we find volcanic soils with clayey and well-drained land. The soils known as "jable" are composed of fine, light-colored volcanic sand, which viticulturists use to cover the vineyard to retain moisture and prevent the proliferation of weeds. The vineyard is located at altitudes ranging from 300 to 1,750 meters.
