West Coast

West Coast is located within the coastal region of the geographical unit Western Cape. Western Cape is a broad geographical area established in 1993, similar to our geographical indications Vino de la Tierra, covering the southern-southwestern part of South Africa. A region with a great winemaking tradition, with evidence of production dating back to 1659, accounting for around 80% of South Africa's wine production.
