Professional career
Born in Rueda (Valladolid), Victoria Pariente left her career in Physics and Chemistry teaching to dedicate herself to oenology and fulfill her father's dream of producing great white wines that are now benchmarks of the D.O. Rueda. Her father, José Pariente, was already crafting white wines in an artisanal way in the 1960s. In 1998, the first Verdejo created by Victoria was launched on the market, named José Pariente in honor of her father.
Currently, Victoria Pariente is the owner and general manager of the family winery, where her children Martina and Ignacio Prieto Pariente have also joined the team.
