The vineyard of Finca Sandoval was planted based on an idea formed over more than thirty years of knowledge about the peculiar terroir of the area, its immense potential for quality wines, especially reds, and the characteristics of the soil and climate, which suggested that Syrah was a variety that should yield very interesting results.
