The wines of Muñana take on the characteristics of the terroir, with a long ripening cycle and significant thermal amplitude, many hours of sunshine, and an almost complete absence of pests. On our estate, the altitude factor, soil type, hours of sunlight, and thermal contrast foster a slow and excellent maturation. Aging in clay caves provides unique nuances.

Career: In 2017, the Hess family acquired Bodegas Muñana, a flagship winery in the province of Granada. Previously, Urs Hess had developed his professional career in different countries for the companies Kraft Foods / Philipp Morris and Swiss Gourmet.
