In 1984, he worked as an enologist and technical director in two wineries in Bordeaux. From 1987 to 1997, he was responsible for the enology of Brotte in Châteauneuf du Pape. Since 1998 until now, he has collaborated as an enologist, consultant, and director of the Mouriesse enological laboratory in Châteauneuf du Pape, while also owning vineyards in Châteauneuf du Pape.
