Description of their own wines
The wines of Ramón Bilbao reflect the microclimate and terroir as well as the varieties of the area from which they originate. They are based on Tempranillo but include small amounts of other traditional varieties such as Mazuelo and Graciano. Recently, we have incorporated Garnacha for our rosé and in some other wines like Viñedos de Altura (50% Tempranillo and 50% Garnacha).
Our crianzas are based on the refinement and complexity that wines gain when aged in the right oak for each of them. Beyond the oak flavor, we seek to achieve complexity and tannin polymerization to ensure longevity in the wine.
Our wines aim to bring consumers the essence of the region and the experience of 90 years devoted to a passion.
