I try to make modern-style wines, smooth and easy to drink. The goal is that, although they have structure, they are neither heavy nor tannic. And, above all, that they reach and appeal to a wide range of consumers.
Professional career
Born in San Sebastián in 1965, he does not come from a family connected to agriculture, viticulture, or oenology. In 1993, he began working as an oenologist at Vinícola Riojana Alcanadre, and six years later, in 1999, he joined Bodegas Sonsierra as head of oenology.

Licensed in Technical Engineering and specialized in Enology from the Polytechnic University of Madrid. Master's degree in Viticulture and Enology from the University of La Rioja.
