Description of their own wines
What fascinates me about winemaking is being able to gradually connect, by listening, with the peculiar characteristics of each 'terroir' and its interaction with the different grape varieties present within it. Enhancing the unique characteristics of each variety and the 'terroir' that forms its home is what drives my challenge in the world of wine, along with the ever-living curiosity for the culture that has created such a special and valuable viticulture.
Professional career

PhD in Agricultural Sciences and Technologies at the University of Milan, with a thesis at the Forschungsanstalt Geisenheim on the study of sulfur compounds in different wines. In 2003, Nicola Tucci began his professional career working in most Italian regions as an enologist and, later, as a consultant, accumulating experience and knowledge about the vast biodiversity of Italian viticulture. At the same time, he produced wines in various countries such as Australia, Argentina, Tunisia, and Macedonia.

During his numerous trips to Spain, he was captivated by the history and potential of the wine regions of our country. And, thanks to the fruitful encounter with expert friends like Iñaki Nuñez and Miguel Zarzuelo, he started the Pago de Los Olivos project with them in 2016.
