Professional career
One of the great names in current Spanish enology, he has combined his work at his own Rioja winery, Finca Allende, with external consultancy and, since 2001, with the production of Finca Coronado wines at Agrovinícola de Almodóvar, where he had been working for several decades on the renewal of its vineyards. In 2014, he launched his new Rioja project: Finca Nueva.
