Professional career
The Alicante entrepreneur Luis Miñano San Valero is the driving force behind the thriving group MGWines, supported by his family. The focus on native varieties from different regions is key to the philosophy of this wine group, which currently includes three wineries in the Levante area: Bodegas Sierra Salinas (D.O. Alicante), Bodegas Lavia (D.O. Bullas), and Bodegas Monóvar; another winery in the province of León: Bodegas Estefanía (D.O. Bierzo); and the Manchegan firm Bodegas Casa Corredor (Vinos de la Tierra de Castilla).
