The winery, small in size and with an artisanal vocation, is completely surrounded by vineyards planted over the last decade, where the behavior of noble varieties such as Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, or Petit Verdot is studied, along with others more recently adapted, such as Monastrell or Graciano.
Professional career
Entrepreneur Manuel Jové decided to deeply immerse himself in the world of wine in 2007, after selling his shares in the real estate company Fadesa. His group currently owns several wineries in Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Zamora, Rueda, Rías Baixas, Monterrei, and Jerez. Venta la Ossa is a very young project. It was founded in 2003 and has 14 hectares of vineyards.
