Born in Vila Real in 1965, Manuel Henrique Da Silva holds a degree in enology from UTAD (Universidade de Tràs-os-Montes e Alto Douro - Vila Real). Since 1987, he has been working in enology, and since 1994, he has been the technical director of ROZÈS, S.A. Port and Douro Wines. From 2005 to 2008, he was a member of the tasting committee of the IVDP for the Douro DOC. And since 2010, he has been a Member of the Advisory Panel (approves appeals for the Douro designation of origin).
