The wines of Finca Río Negro combine the (almost lost) tradition of the area based on the tempranillo variety, complemented by the minor contribution of French varieties. In order of importance: syrah, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot. On the palate, these are very flavorful, powerful wines, where the ripening conditions of the vineyard's unique location result in wines with higher acidity than most in central Spain.
