Professional career
Four generations of grape growers and winemakers from Laguardia, Álava, are behind the expertise of Juan Carlos López de Lacalle. A whole career of oenological successes in Jumilla supports, in turn, Agapito Rico, one of the pioneers of what is now known as modern Jumilla. The partnership between López de Lacalle and Rico has resulted in one of the most solid and established wineries in their region, with a clear commitment to quality and terroir-driven wines.
