He works in the laboratory and cellars of the Freixenet Group as head of production until 1980. That year, he assumes the position of Technical Director of the Group, a role he still holds today, overseeing a production volume of approximately 90 million bottles annually. He is a member of the Freixenet Oenological Advisory Board for the group's wineries in Mexico, California, and France. He won First Prize in the Annual Wine Tasting Competition of Spain, organized by the prestigious "Academia de Catavinos St. Humbert" in the 1985 edition. He has received several special mentions in Wine Sensory Analysis Competitions. He was awarded the Diploma of Oenological Merit at "Expo-Food," Milan, 1997, as the winemaker of the award-winning wines in the "International Oenological Competition." He has been part of the Editorial Board of the ACE enology magazine since its foundation in 1984. He is a member of the International Union of Oenologists; the Spanish Federation; the Catalan Association of Food Sciences; the Academia de Catavinos de St. Humbert; the Casal dels Amics del Vi; an Honorary Member of the Rioja Wine Brotherhood; a member of the advisory board of "l'Escola de Restauració i Hostelatge," as well as a member of the tasting commission of the Cava Regulatory Council and its Appeals Committee. He regularly participates as a judge in tasting panels at both national and international levels.

Master Industrial in Oenological Industries from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He undertakes various training courses in France, Italy, and Spain on new oenological technologies. He makes constant study trips to the main wine regions worldwide to learn about new oenological trends.
