Description of their own wines

Mountain wines, non-interventionist, unique, fresh, elegant, and highly gastronomic. I always tell my clients during exportation that Tandem was not born to make just another wine from Navarra; it wouldn’t make sense. I tell them that, humbly, we are carving out a new path with a machete. And here lies the Tandem paradox: because we merely reproduce an ancient winemaking method, without intervention, which then stands out in the market because the customer tastes the wine, it feels good, and they ask about the concrete, that freshness, that mystery.

We have experienced that aging in epoxy-coated concrete is wonderful because these are tanks built in situ, which are airtight. The storage temperature is impeccable all year round, and the wine in this marvelous vessel doesn’t oxidize, clarifies naturally, and becomes more complex and structured.

Professional career
Economist from the University of Deusto ESTE, MBA from IE. He began working at Palacio de la Vega in 1992, where he met Alicia Eyaralar. In 1997, he joined Príncipe de Viana, where he stayed until 2002, the year he proposed to Alicia to start a new project together, which they named Tandem. Two who come together ‘finally’ to fulfill a dream.
