"The goal we have set for ourselves, and I believe we are achieving at Protos, is to maintain consistency over time with all our wines, establishing minimum quality standards that we uphold in every vintage. Additionally, we strive to create wines with character that are highly representative of Ribera del Duero. All of them are made 100% with tinta del país and always sourced from vineyards directly controlled by us, with the aim of always producing wines with substantial structure."
Professional career
Winemaker for ten years at Marqués de Riscal in Rueda. Additionally, he worked as a consultant for several wineries in Spain until joining Protos, where he served as technical director until 2015.
