"Despite my youth, over time I have learned that in modern oenology everything could be copied. Everything except the terroir and the climate, which make each vineyard unique and unrepeatable. It is for this reason that we believed we had to go back to the beginning and focus all our efforts on the daily management and work of the vineyard so that, once the best grapes were obtained, we could intervene as little as possible in the winery to produce fine, elegant, harmonious wines and, above all, with their own personality. Unrepeatable wines, in a word."
Professional career
After several training periods at Bodegas Marqués del Puerto and Bodegas Olarra, he obtained a degree in Viticulture and Oenology and became part of the technical team at Bodegas Marqués de Cáceres. He remained there until 2005, the year he decided to take on the challenge of independently leading the technical department at Bodegas Pastor Díaz.

He was born in Logroño on October 19, 1978. He is a Technician in Enotechnics and Viticulture, holds a Master's degree in Viticulture, Oenology, and Wine Marketing, and a Postgraduate degree in Viticulture and Oenology from the University of La Rioja.
