The banks of the Unia offer a shallow, sandy bed, as well as a mild and humid Atlantic climate, both highly favorable for the ripening of the Albariño variety used to produce the single-varietal wines of Pazo de Villarei. This winery enhances their color and freshness by employing aging on fine lees during the winemaking process, which enriches the grape's aromas, ensuring a unique expression.
