Currently, the Freixenet Group is the world leader in the commercialization of sparkling wines made following the traditional method and encompasses a large number of wineries producing still and sparkling wines across different regions of the country: Segura Viudas (D.O. Cava), Valdubón (D.O. Ribera del Duero), René Barbier (D.O. Penedès), Etcétera (D.O. Rueda), among others; and also in other countries, such as Henri Abelé (A.O.C. Champagne).

José Luis Bonet has been the president of the Freixenet Group since 1999. At 75 years old, Bonet combines this role with the presidency of the Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Renowned Brands.
