Family
Federico Lucendo is part of the fourth generation of winemakers from the Lucendo family. His great-grandfather César Lucendo owned wineries in Argamasilla de Alba and La Rioja. He is also the son of the renowned winemaker and professor Jesús Lucendo Alonso, and the brother of three other winemakers.
Professional career
He studied Agricultural Technical Engineering and later became a Higher Technician in Enology. He combines the knowledge acquired both inside and outside Spain with the wisdom passed down through tradition and family heritage. Among the awards received, the recognition as Best Winemaker in Spain in 2009 by the International Tasting Panel stands out.
