In the mid-1990s, the couple formed by Paco Rodero and Conchita Villa, owners of several hectares of vineyard near Pedrosa de Duero, decided to build a winery to vinify the fruit of their vines. This is how the Pago de los Capellanes winery was born, a true benchmark of Ribera del Duero and Spanish wine, now celebrating 27 years of history.
The founders' daughter, Estefanía Rodero (pictured), joined the family business in 2015 and today represents the new generation leading the winery following the passing of Paco Rodero in March 2023.
