Familia Concejo

Description of their own wines
Concejo Bodegas, a family winery with deep roots in its region, dedicated to producing high-quality red and rosé wines, based on its own vineyards with a unique soil characterized as the most calcareous in the Duero Valley. We have been making wine for 15 years and we love what we do.
Professional career
The Concejo family began their journey linked to wine in 1906, when they acquired their first vineyards in Valoria La Buena (Valladolid), a municipality with a long winemaking tradition, and started wine production until the 1950s. After a hiatus, in the 1980s, Antonio Concejo restructured the vineyards, creating the current estate with approximately 30 hectares. In the 1990s, Enrique Concejo and Olga were the architects of the current project: Concejo Bodegas.
