Produces traditional wines, where the interpretation of the vineyard plays an important role, developing artisanal winery practices combined with the application of modern techniques, always respecting the wine's natural essence. The result is a range of wines where most of them feature a modern tasting style, highlighting ripe fruit and spiced notes in the reds, as well as classic grand reservas that uphold the heritage of their land. All of them are fragrant, rounded wines that invite you to enjoy them comfortably.
Professional career
Elsa Ubis begins her career at La Rioja Alta S.A., famous for its great classic wines, where she is part of the technical team both at the winery itself and at its subsidiaries Torre de Oña and Áster, located in Ribera del Duero. It is at the end of 2005 when she joins the Bodegas Marqués de Arviza project as Technical Director, and later as Winery Director, where she produced wines with a more international profile. Finally, since the 2008 harvest, she has been the Winemaker and Director of Marqués del Puerto, owned by MBWS, promoting a wine style adapted to current tastes.
