Professional career
Diego Talavera has extensive experience in the wine sector, where he began working in 1997 within the Grupo Bodegas & Bebidas, first in La Rioja and later in San Sebastián. In 2001, he joined Bodegas Miguel Torres as head of the Europe and Russia area. In 2005, he was promoted to export coordinator. In 2007, he joined Bodegas Murviedro as Sales & Marketing Director, tasked with creating and implementing a new commercial and marketing strategy, as well as leading the expansion policy at both national and international levels. In July 2010, he was appointed Managing Director of Bodegas Murviedro.
