François Lurton is a representative of the fifth generation of the Lurton family dedicated to the world of wine.
The aim is to respect the grape variety, always striving for well-executed work in the viñedo. On the other hand, to create wines that are very pleasant to drink, silky, unctuous, and that leave you with a great memory of the wine, achieving a good balance with the acidity.
In 1985, after completing his studies in commerce, François Lurton began his professional career as the sales and marketing director of André Lurton vineyards, his father's business. Together with his brother Jacques, he founded a consulting company in 1988 that took them around the globe to discover exceptional wines and terroirs. From Moldova to Mendoza, passing through Spain and Portugal, they tirelessly searched for winemakers, traders, and retailers capable of meeting the ever-changing demands of consumers and the expectations of their clients.
Meanwhile, Dany and Michel Rolland met at the Bordeaux Faculty in 1968 and continue to work together to this day. Since 1973, they have operated one of the most renowned enological laboratories in the world, located in Libourne. Michel Rolland is considered today one of the most sought-after enological consultants in the wine industry.
