Description of their own wines
The closed area of the Castle (harvest within the walled enclosure of the Castle and from other vineyards in the surroundings) is only produced when the harvest reaches the maximum expression of the terroir and its balance is perfect. This only happens on exceptional occasions, so far in 2001, 2004, and 2005, years in which the climate was suitable for achieving a perfectly matured harvest.
Professional career
Bergé y Cía. takes ownership of the Castillo de Cuzcurrita in 1999. From the beginning, the new owners started a complete renovation of its facilities.
