I have always been involved in small, carefully managed, family-run projects, which is where I feel most comfortable. Initiatives where I can touch the grape that goes into each wine, feel the emotion the grape tries to convey, and be able to interpret it, and above all, capture it in a recognizable way in the wines.
Professional career
He began his work as a scholarship holder in the D.O. Vinos de Madrid, where he served as a technical inspector and conducted research alongside CESIC, UPM, and the Centro Finca El Encín of IMIDRA. At the end of the 1990s, he concluded this phase and started working as a technical director in several wineries in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. Finally, in 2023, he joined Ukan Winery and began working in the D.O.Ca. Rioja.
