Description of their own wines
My brother Iván and I inherited from our father and grandfather the passion for agriculture and viticulture, and we enthusiastically carry the weight of this company. Both united yet differentiating our responsibilities, I as Technical Director and Iván with viticulture and wine commercialization, we ensure that this great project my father believed in continues to keep alive wines where quality prevails above all.
The personality of our wines was born in 1989 from the love for the land and grapes and the meticulous care of their quality, giving them a distinguished character with their own identity. Full-bodied wines that respect the fruit above the wood, showcasing the excellent capacity of the raw material and an authentic varietal profile. All of this is accompanied by nuances of fine wood, which provides velvety textures and very well-integrated tannins. Wines with a persistent finish, where primary and tertiary notes linger in the aftertaste, granting them great complexity.
Professional career
Disciple of two myths of enology, the enologists Antonio Sanz and Mariano García. Since 1998, she has been the enologist of Bodega Dehesa de los Canónigos; and since the year 2000, she has been a member of the Tasting Committee of the Ribera del Duero Regulatory Council.

Belén Sanz Cid holds the title of Enólogo, Technical Specialist in Viticulture and Enology from the University of Valencia and completed her studies at the prestigious University of Bordeaux Faculté D'oenologie.
