Description of their own wines
Venta La Ossa is a collection that brings together the most unique wines of the winery, made from old dry-farmed vineyards and therefore under conditions that demand, each year, the utmost expertise. The collection also includes wines made from varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah; or the original 'coupage' of Venta La Ossa TNT, which results in a surprising wine, a whim, a caprice allowed by the winery after years of working in a land that never ceases to amaze us.
Professional career
Originally from Valdepeñas, Asunción Yébenes has been connected to the world of wine since birth, as her grandparents were viticulturists, and she grew up surrounded by vineyards, harvests, wine aromas, and old clay jars. She holds a degree in enology and began her career at “El Invencible,” a cooperative located in Valdepeñas, which allowed her to gain a comprehensive understanding of the region's vineyards. There, she also undertook a complex remodeling process to increase production without compromising quality. Drawn by the opportunity to work with some of the best vineyards in the area, she joined Mano a Mano in 2008, where she continues to work today, also taking on the role of Production Director for the wineries that are part of Terraselecta.
